Joe Guliker is the owner and principal designer of Guliker Design Group Inc., a leading building and home design firm based in Chilliwack, BC. With over 15 years of hands-on construction experience and a strong foundation in architectural design and drafting, Joe brings a practical and creative approach to every project.
After graduating from the Architectural Design and Drafting program at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in 2007, Joe worked as a draftsperson for a structural engineering firm for five years while establishing his own design company. Over the years, he has built a reputation for delivering well-planned, functional, and visually appealing designs that balance aesthetics with constructability and cost efficiency.
Joe’s experience extends across a wide range of projects — including custom homes, multi- family buildings, commercial developments, agricultural buildings, and tenant improvements. His in-depth understanding of construction methods allows him to work closely with clients, builders, and municipalities to ensure every project moves smoothly from concept to completion.
Before focusing full-time on design, Joe spent over 15 years in the construction industry, building everything from custom homes and agricultural structures to bridges and water towers. This hands-on background continues to influence his design philosophy today — that great design should be both beautiful and buildable. Joe is a dedicated father of six wonderful children, ranging in age from 7 to 23. When he’s not spending time with his family, he enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and skiing. His love for adventure and the outdoors reflects his balanced approach to life — combining family, work, and recreation with enthusiasm and purpose.
